Description: A magnificent Irish cut-crystal twelve-light chandelier attributed to Waterford Crystal in the Powerscourt pattern. The elaborate two-tier fixture has four reaching arms on the upper level and eight broad swan-neck arms below, each terminating in double flower-form cut-crystal bobeches hung with faceted spear prisms. The architectural central standard is assembled from urn-, baluster-, and bowl-form elements enriched with diamond, crosshatch, and geometric cutting. Faceted crystal bead swags descend from the scalloped upper bowl, while additional pendant prisms and cut-crystal drops complete the richly refractive design. Electrified for twelve candle-form lights.

Condition: Presents impressively and illuminates as photographed. Crystal elements exhibit scattered scratches, small chips, flea bites, and edge wear consistent with age and use. Individual prisms and hanging elements have not been inventoried. Candle sleeves, sockets, wiring, and portions of the metal fittings may be later replacements. .
